Color

Depth of Field and Focus
The depth of field in most of the pictures is shallow.  This helps the yellow pop out.  with the depth of field being shallower it helps make the picture less blurry, because the aperture is open more so more light comes in in a shorter time. The focus on the majority of the pictures is in the center.  In the lemon picture the focus is on the end.

Exposure:
My pictures have good exposure.  The only problem I have with the exposure is that the image begins to blend into the background, I can fix this by editing the pictures.  In some of the pictures the Depth of field is a little bit to deep.  I could fix this by changing the exposure and and apperature.  This may have required a tripod, but i think it would have been better.

Lighting
In four of the immages I used synthetic light.  I think this was a mistake because it gave the pictures more of an orange glow.  The other pictures were natural light.   The pictures with the natural light came out bright, which I thought was great because when I was taking the pictures, I was going for a brighter yellow.    The pictures have the light comming from all over.  On the flowers it was somming from above, the light on the tree came from behind, and the lemmons, number and eye came from above.

Lines:
In these pictures I tryed to use less of the rule of thirds, because in the past I have had too much empty space. An example of a picture that I feel took up the space around the outside would be the one of the yellow daisy that is taken mostly of the center of the flower.    That same flower also used leading lines.  The outside pedals have lines that lead into the center of the flower.  Which I feel is where the eye should be drawn in the picture.  In the picture of the tree there is repitition.  Another thing that repeats it the color throughout the immage.

Composition
In the over all image there are a few things I could fix.  One think I could do to make the picture more visually appealing would be to move some of the pictures around so the same colors arent right next to each other.  For example the lemmons and the yellow numbers start to blend together if I would have put a different picture there it might have  blended less.  I also think that it would have helped in a compositional way too. It would have done this by draging your eye around the picture instead of being stuck on the block of darker yellow in the middle right side.

Color/ Value
In this image a color scheme of yellow is used.  This has a realistic scheme.  When I look at theis picture I get the feeling of summer, eeventhough it is taken in the fall.  This feeling is made by the color scheme.  The two similar colors of yellow help to draw your eye in and keep it there.

HDR

Depth of Field and focus:
This photo has a shallow depth of field.  The blurred background helps the image pop out. Although I do think the background is a little distracting, I think the blurriness helps make the background less distracting.  I think the focus is on the leaf of the grapes.  With the focus on the leaves it makes you look at the picture a little longer to figure out what the image is composed of.

Exposure:
Since the picture is an HDR image this photo is taken at multiple shutter speeds.  When all the pictures are added together it causes the image to have an exposure with light lights and dark darks.  Something I could have done to improve the exposure of this picture is made the iso higher.  I think that would have made the picture quality better.  Two things that were hard to because of the slow shutter speed was keeping the camera still and keeping the camera in the same place because it is an HDR image.

Lighting:
In this picture I used synthetic lighting.  The lighting makes the picture look more orange .  The light was coming from above, and it was slightly behind.  On the top of the grape you can see a reflection of the light source.  Something I could have changed about the light source was have it coming from behind the camera, which would have made the background from being quite so distracting.

Lines:
In this picture the lines on the leaf of the grapes leads into the stem and the purple part of the grapes.  The  subject also takes up two thirds of the picture.  I think something I could have changed would be all the empty space around the outside.   In the majority of my pictures I do waste a lot of space, but specifically in this picture the area is distracting.  The end of the stem also draws the eye which is my third form of lines.

Colors and values:
In this photo a realistic color scheme is used.  In the photo the colors are bright because of the three pictures being combined.  I used a realistic color scheme because last time I used an unrealistic one I got marked down for it.  Also I used realistic because the grapes were glass the colors were not exactly like grapes, so it started off to be slightly unrealistic and i thought it would be too much to make that much of a difference.

Composition:
In this picture I filled two thirds of the picture.  That mens I used the rule of thirds.  In this picture I don't think that the colors blend very well together.  Which makes the composition of pictures poor.  To fix my issue of composition i could have changed the background and used up more space.

Composite Critique

Composite
Depth of field and focus
In my photo there are 6 pictures put together.  On almost every flower the focus is right in center. The white flower has the focus on the left part of the flower, and the white one in the back ground is focused on a small bug.   On most of the pictures  the depth of field is very shallow.  Although some have deeper depths of field you can't tell because I cut out the image and  pasted many together.

Exposure
This picture is composed of many pictures.  This makes each individual picture with a different exposure.  Although many were similar because i took them all at the same time of day.  Scene many of the exposures are the same it also makes many of f stops the same , or  with in the same range.

Lighting
The lighting that I used was  natural sun light.  On some of the flowers the sun was covered by clouds, so it was more diffused light and on others the light came straight from the sun.  I sprayed some water on the flowers this reflected the sun light and added a nice touch.   The light was coming from slightly above to the  side.  Many times the sun was behind my back.

Lines
In my original picture , which is the background photo the main image is in the middle.  This was the first line I created.  When I added many of my pictures in I put them on the thirds lines.  this then created the first three lines.  The next line I made was a diagonal line going from bottom left to top right.    When I added them I didn't add them to close to the bottom or to close to the top which created my last line.

Color
The color tome I used was unrealistic.  It consists of mostly reds and greens.  Sense the contrast is so high it creates many round spots.  An example of the round spots is in the top left corner.  The color also becomes blurred in the middle of many flowers.

Composition
In my photo I used the golden rule.  Where the spiral starts in the center then moves around the bottom ending on the white flower in the corner.  This makes the picture more visually appealing.  Lastly I used many bright colored flowers so they wil stand out even when the contrast is high.
